Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iz Kayl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the cage accompanied by Superbeast - Rob Zombie. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulo Reis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Iz Kayl! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kayl manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kayl controls Reis momentarily but Reis frees himself. Kayl keeping full guard, as Reis tries to pass. Reis is working hard here to advance position. Reis throws a big right hand that misses. Reis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kayl is keeping the position for now. Reis being controlled here momentarily. Reis wants to pass the guard but Kayl is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Reis misses with a wild body shot. Reis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kayl sprawls well. Kayl wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Reis gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis shoots for a takedown but Kayl saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Reis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paulo Reis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kayl scores with a takedown into Reis's guard. Reis looking for a sweep. Not yet Reis, not yet. Kayl wants to pass the guard but Reis is keeping the position. Reis looking for a guillotine here but Kayl defends easily.
Kayl slips nicely into half guard. Kayl is thwarting Reis's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Reis is breathing heavily. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kayl is pressing down on Reis's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reis is holding on for now. Reis tries to get to full guard but Kayl has control of the leg. Kayl looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Reis is in trouble now - Kayl has advanced to mount! Kayl looking to secure an arm triangle but Reis defends it well. Reis is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis is trying to escape the mount but Kayl keeps good control and instead manages to take Reis's back.
Kayl doesn't have the hooks in and Reis manages to turn into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kayl keeping moving, preventing Reis from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Reis scores a takedown into full mount! Kayl bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kayl thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kayl slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kayl tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kayl has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kayl working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iz Kayl dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Reis gets a takedown into half guard. Reis uses his free foot to push down on Kayl's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kayl. Kayl wants to control but Reis is having none of it. Kayl is squirming around, avoiding Reis's attempts to control the action. Kayl wants to control but Reis is having none of it. Reis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Reis has hold of Kayl's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kayl manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Reis avoids the attempt from Kayl to control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis throwing strikes here but Kayl is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Reis is looking to work his way around to Kayl's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Reis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kayl is looking to escape. Reis punching from mount but Kayl doing a good job of avoiding damage. Kayl is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kayl looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. Kayl is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reis trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kayl wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Reis.
Kayl is looking to improve his position but Reis isn't that keen on the idea. Kayl is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Reis trying to control but Kayl is having none of it. Kayl tries to hold on but Reis pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kayl tries to reverse the position but Reis maintains control. Kayl sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Kayl is staying active underneath Reis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Reis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kayl defending well though. Kayl wants to control but Reis is keeping busy.
Kayl tries to get to full guard but Reis has control of the leg. Kayl moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Reis tries to free his leg and advance position but Kayl is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kayl is on top in guard.
Kayl pushes down on Reis's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kayl trying to mount his opponent but Reis defends it. Reis is looking to control Kayl's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reis avoid being mounted? Kayl is looking to advance position but Reis won't allow it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kayl has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Reis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Iz Kayl will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Reis misses with a takedown and Kayl counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kayl. Reis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kayl doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kayl manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kayl works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kayl works his way into full mount! Reis is in all sorts of trouble here.
Reis has given up his back here. Will Kayl look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kayl patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Kayl has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kayl is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Kayl. Reis defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kayl's arms. Kayl is not going to allow Reis to sit and survive in this position. Kayl doesn't have the hooks in and Reis manages to turn into his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kayl is on top in guard.
Reis has his foot on Kayl's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kayl works his way back into a safe position though. Kayl slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis tries to buck Kayl off but Kayl is having none of it. Reis struggling a bit here. Reis prevents Kayl from moving into mount. Kayl wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reis, who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Reis's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kayl tries to advance to mount but can't. Kayl working away. Kayl passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Reis! Reis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kayl has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Reis is forced to tap!
