Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cripy H (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Crocker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from H is defended easily by Crocker.
H connects with a body shot.
Crocker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
H looks for a takedown but Crocker sprawls well.
H misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cripy H. That's going to take a lot out of him.
H takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
H tries to clinch up.
Crocker pushes H up against the cage in a clinch.
H fails to pull guard.
H can't get the takedown.
Crocker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Crocker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around H's waist but H gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Crocker off to one side.

H is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Crocker is keeping busy.

Crocker connects with a single shot there.
Crocker misses with a hook. H ducked under it nicely.
H takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Cripy H has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Crocker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

H jumps guard but Crocker stands there with H around his waist. H gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Crocker tightens his grip and picks H up, before dumping him to the ground. H manages to land in guard.

H shoots in for a takedown but Crocker shows good takedown defense.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crocker.
