Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Urias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urias comes to the cage accompanied by Here comes the BOOM. Wallace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Let's Go kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Urias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Wallace! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urias wants to clinch. Wallace stuffs the takedown attempt from Urias. Urias gets slowly back to his feet. Wallace misses with a body shot.
Urias throws a head kick that misses. Urias takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Wallace rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Urias moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Urias throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Wallace lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Wallace lands with an overhand left. Urias tries to close the distance and clinch but Wallace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Urias shoots in and bounces Wallace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urias has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wallace is proving hard to escape from. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wallace holds on and takes a little breather. Urias postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Urias tries to stand but Wallace is controlling from the bottom. Wallace managing to control the position. Wallace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wallace holds on and takes a little breather.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urias wants to pass the guard but Wallace is keeping the position. Urias wants to stand but Wallace is controlling his posture from full guard. Wallace is controlling Urias's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Urias would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Urias tries to free his leg and advance position but Wallace is retaining full guard. Wallace keeping moving, preventing Urias from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Wallace dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Urias ducks under a wild hook from Wallace. Wallace throws the left hand but Urias avoids the punch easily. Wallace lands with an uppercut that bounces Urias off the cage and back into rage. No luck with that takedown attempt from Urias. Wallace waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Urias. Miguel Urias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Wallace misses. The fighters circling - Wallace throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urias wants to clinch. Wallace connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Urias pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Wallace thows a body shot but no joy. Wallace lands a jab. Urias displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wallace throws out the jab. Wallace throws a hook but Urias blocks it. Wallace tries to bum rush Urias with a series of wild strikes but Urias uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Urias can pounce on him.
Wallace rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Urias moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Urias rushes Wallace and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Urias jumps guard but Wallace stands there with Urias around his waist. Urias gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Urias tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wallace avoids it. Wallace is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. That's three minutes gone in the round. Urias manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Urias throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Wallace content to stall in guard here. Urias is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Urias escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wallace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wallace wants to control from the top but Urias keeps moving. Wallace seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Urias will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Urias swivels though and keeps the full guard. Urias keeping moving, preventing Wallace from controlling successfully. Wallace trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Urias dives in and grabs Wallace's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes down on Urias's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Urias. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wallace misses with the combination.
Urias lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wallace takes a step back to recover. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight moves into the clinch position. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Urias missing with knees to the body.
Wallace works on Urias's body with a couple of short punches. Wallace is pressed up against the cage. Urias has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wallace down to the mat. Wallace avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Urias is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Urias swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No joy there for Wallace, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Urias digs a right hand into Wallace's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Wallace's gas tank. Urias lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Wallace gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Urias.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Urias tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wallace smiles and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Urias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wallace as he jumps to the side. Urias walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Wallace scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wallace blocks the body kick.

Urias wants to clinch. James Wallace seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wallace scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Urias takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wallace misses with an uppercut. Urias saw that one coming. Wallace throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Urias on the side of the head. Urias scores with a kick to the body.
Urias moves forwards but Wallace connects with a nice, crisp jab. Miguel Urias has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Urias fails with an attempt to clinch.

Urias doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Urias scores with a push kick. Urias is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Urias drops his hands momentarily and Wallace takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wallace swings for the body but Urias moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wallace scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Urias doesn't seem bothered though. Urias tries to clinch up but Wallace circles away and keeps his distance. James Wallace is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wallace misses with a hook.
And that's the end of the fight! James Wallace comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wallace winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
