The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rivera pinned against the cage. Rivera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rivera moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rivera lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rivera misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rivera misses with a few strikes there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rivera thumps Jones with a low kick.
