Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack comes to the cage accompanied by Fed Up - House of Pain/Guru. Bernard Mack could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shane Marsh's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bernard Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Marsh!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Mack swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mack swats away the attempt to clinch by Marsh.
Marsh thows a body kick. Mack tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Marsh tries to clinch up but Mack circles away and keeps his distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marsh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marsh connects with a high kick.

Marsh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mack!
Marsh postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mack looks a forlorn figure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mack can't escape the position.
Mack throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Marsh lands a big elbow.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Marsh cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


Mack is rocked!
Mack is working to get back to half guard.
Oh Mack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Marsh working for a submission but Mack is keeping him at bay.
Mack seems to have got his legs back now.
Mack is looking to improve his position but Marsh isn't that keen on the idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Marsh has hold of Mack's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mack manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mack keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Marsh blocks Mack's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Marsh avoids the attempt from Mack to control.
Mack is trying desperately to improve position.
Marsh landing punches.
Mack is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marsh won't let Mack get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Mack is trying to escape the mount.
Mack is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Marsh lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mack hang on?

Marsh is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Mack can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Mack is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Mack tries to buck Marsh off but Marsh takes his back!
Mack turns into Marsh and is now in his guard.
Marsh trying to keep a closed guard but Mack is proving a slippery customer.
Mack stopping the sweep attempt from Marsh.
Marsh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mack's guard.
Marsh has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mack looking for a sweep. Not yet Mack, not yet.
Marsh looking to pass the guard.

Mack pushes Marsh off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mack misses with the combination.

Marsh looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Marsh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shane Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mack misses with a wild combination.
Marsh tries to clinch there but Mack circles away.
Mack fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Mack does no damage.
Mack misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Marsh gets a clinch.
Marsh scores with a knee to the head.
Mack working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Mack tries a body shot but Marsh blocks it.
Mack fails to pull guard.
Marsh is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mack is keeping busy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marsh tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Marsh with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Marsh looking to throw knees to the head but Mack is blocking nicely.
Marsh misses with a knee to the head.

Marsh is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mack is keeping busy.
A body shot lands from Mack.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Marsh takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Mack scores with a shot to the side of Marsh's head.
A short body shot lands from Mack as the two fighters clinch.
A short right from Mack.
Marsh misses with a knee strike.
Marsh lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Mack is working Marsh over against the cage.
Marsh with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Mack lands a shoulder strike.
A nice left hand lands by Mack.
Stalling in the clinch from Mack.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mack seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Mack has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Marsh is trying to keep an underhook but Mack manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Mack trying to mount his opponent but Marsh defends it.
Marsh is staying active underneath Mack, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Marsh dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mack throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mack throws an overhand right that has Marsh reeling! Mack follows up with a more punches and Marsh is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bernard Mack!
