Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Thomison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by The Trooper. Jericho Wilson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thomison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Thomison can't do much from the bottom here.
Wilson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Thomison some visible discomfort.
Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thomison keeps working.
Thomison is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Thomison gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Thomison apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wilson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Thomison to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wilson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Thomison pulls down on the head and he's put Wilson to sleep! This one is all over!
