Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Josh Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Light has chosen Bobby Light ft Bishop Lamont, Ryu & Drama Beats - Lights Out "Dirty Girl Pa as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Light! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster throws a low kick but Light avoids it. Light closes the distance and clinches. Light tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Foster tries to stall but Light uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Foster drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Light gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Foster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Foster. Light scores with a three punch combo!
Foster buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Light stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Light wants it to stay on the feet. Foster tries to close the distance and clinch up but Light swats him away and circles back towards the center. Foster does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Light swats away the attempt to clinch by Foster. Foster throws a leg kick but Light moved away. Josh Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Light throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Foster was covering up waiting for the punch and Light finishes the takedown easily into guard. Foster is controlling Light's posture. Light pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Foster is keeping the position for now. Foster can't keep his opponent in guard - Light advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Foster trying to control here.
Foster slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foster throws his legs up looking for a submission but Light uses it to pass to side control.
Foster is looking to reverse the position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Light in side control, throwing shots but Foster defends. Foster is looking to regain half guard here but Light keeps moving and retains side control. Foster is trying to control Light's posture but Light avoids it. Foster is not content to let Light control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Light asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Light looks to clinch and Foster counters with a shoot takedown. Light fights it but they end up in guard. Foster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Light throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Light wants to sweep here but Foster controlling him for the moment. Light looks gassed! Foster wants to stand but Light has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foster trying to control the position from guard on top but Light is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Foster makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Light wants to sweep but no luck. Light looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Foster keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Light's head. Foster has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Light is proving hard to escape from. Foster wants to control from the top but Light keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Josh Foster will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Light decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Foster is pressing down on Light's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster keeping moving, preventing Light from controlling successfully. Light passes Foster's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Foster moves into full guard.
Foster is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Foster controlling Light's posture. Light is breathing heavily. Foster is looking for a triangle but Light pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Foster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Light gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster working for a triangle but Light defends it easily.
Light wants to pass the guard but Foster is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Foster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Foster throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Light gets a takedown into half guard. Foster trying to control from the bottom.
Light not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Foster tries to get to full guard but Light has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Light is pressing down on Foster's thigh, looking to free his foot. Foster is holding on for now. Foster pushes Light off looking to stand but Light dives back in and keeps control.
Foster trying to hold on to Light's head to control him but Light postures up.
Foster tries to kick Light off but Light keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Foster is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Light pulls his head out easily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Light dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Foster. That did some damage! Foster throws a low kick, looking for Light's leg but Light calmly moves out of range. Light takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A solid leg kick lands there for Foster.
Foster keeps the fight on the outside. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Light. Foster throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Light blocks a head kick by Foster.
Foster looks to land a combination but Light avoids it well. A low kick from Foster is predictable there and Light counters with a shoot takedown. Foster fights it but they end up in guard. Foster is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Foster working a defensive guard here.
Foster tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Light showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Foster tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Light or perhaps it was just good defense by Foster which made him look bad. Good leg kick by Foster there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Foster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Light circles away quickly and effectively. Foster tries to clinch there but Light circles away.
Foster pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Foster closes this distance looking for a takedown but Light circles away. Foster shoots in for a takedown but Light shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Foster has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Light uses from the top position. Light trying to control but Foster is working from the bottom. Light takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Light is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster wriggles free and stands up. Foster throws a nice looking combination but Light bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Foster throws a head kick that Light semi-blocks.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Foster.
Bobby Light is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Foster looks to land a combination. Light sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Light throws a jab but it's blocked by Foster.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Light on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Foster. Foster obviously looking to wear him down.
Light stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Foster. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Foster.
Light takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A solid leg kick lands there for Foster.
This has been an exciting period of action! Foster shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Foster is looking to stand up but Light won't let him. Foster works a leg free and moves into half guard. Light wants to improve his position but Foster is controlling well.
Foster trying to mount his opponent but Light defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster is working hard here to advance position. Foster looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Foster missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Light's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Foster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Foster throws a sloppy head kick and Light moves out of range easily. Foster shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Foster misses with a head kick.
Light checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Foster showed his dominance in that final round. I think Foster has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
