Blood takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jon Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blood has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wood has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Blood clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wood lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Blood is rocked!

It looks like Pure Blood has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wood lands punches and elbows.
Blood is still in real trouble! Can Wood finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Wood. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Wood lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Wood.

That has opened up Pure Blood's cut even more.
Wood has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Blood.

The cut above Pure Blood's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pure Blood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
