Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Diego Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javon Kevon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevon has chosen Swag Surfin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kevon stalks Ortiz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ortiz's face. Ortiz staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Diego Ortiz has been cut.

Ortiz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kevon tries to kick Ortiz off but Ortiz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ortiz wants to get back to his feet.
Ortiz is trying to control. Kevon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Ortiz stalling away here and it's allowed Kevon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Kevon had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ortiz is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kevon Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ortiz's back instead.
