Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Atlantis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Atlantis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Jones!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atlantis throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Atlantis takes one to the side of the head.
Jones throws a right hand that Atlantis ducks under and follows up with a left that Atlantis also avoids with ease.
Atlantis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jones.
Jones throws a right and a left that Atlantis avoids nicely.
Jones throws a series of punches but Atlantis moves out of range.
Atlantis dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Atlantis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Atlantis somewhat.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Atlantis moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.

Atlantis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Atlantis's head backwards.

Atlantis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Atlantis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Atlantis wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position.

Atlantis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Atlantis takes one on the button.
Atlantis shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Atlantis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Atlantis throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Atlantis.
