Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deyssem Cordem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Deyssem Cordem! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrews slaps away a takedown attempt from Cordem, before circling back to the center of the mat. Andrews closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cordem did well to prevent Andrews getting side control. Cordem is looking to improve his position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Andrews lands a nice short elbow. Cordem looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Andrews is keen to just control but Cordem is a slippery customer. Andrews lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Andrews works his way into side control. Cordem is not content to let Andrews control the position. Cordem manages to work his way to half guard, despite Andrews's best efforts. Nice strikes from Andrews there. Andrews wants to free his trapped foot but Cordem is holding on for dear life with his legs. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cordem looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cordem is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Andrews has isolated one of Cordem's arms. Cordem looking to fight him off but Andrews twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
