Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordam Natt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Irvin ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jordam Natt! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irvin gets the takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Irvin are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Natt sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Natt is trying to control but can't.
Natt is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Irvin 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Irvin 's back! Good control from Natt. Irvin tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Irvin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Irvin is not content to let Natt control the position. Natt is taking a breather. Irvin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Irvin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Irvin striking off his back but it's not causing Natt any problems. Irvin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Irvin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Natt's head. Natt avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Irvin . Irvin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Irvin is breathing heavily. Natt looks like he's trying to stand up.
Natt gets full guard. Natt wants to stand and escape but Irvin is having none of it. Irvin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Irvin prevents Natt from getting back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Natt drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Irvin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Natt tries to stand but Irvin is controlling from the bottom. Natt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Irvin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Irvin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Natt is one step ahead there. Natt stands up from Irvin 's guard - Natt perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Irvin shoots and misses and Natt counters with a body kick. Irvin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Natt fails with a takedown attempt. Natt fails with the takedown and Irvin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Natt won't be happy with that. Natt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Irvin . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Natt is trying to buck Irvin off. Irvin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Natt, who protects the arm well. Irvin is trying to ground and pound but Natt uses the momentary lack of control by Irvin to regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Irvin prevents Natt from improving his position. Natt is trying to control but can't.
Natt looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Natt can do anything to dispel that myth. Irvin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Natt defending well though. Natt is looking to escape. Natt looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Irvin dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Irvin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Natt to the mat! Natt manages to get full guard. Irvin with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Irvin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Natt wants to stand and escape but Irvin is having none of it. Irvin connects with a couple of short punches. Irvin is looking to work some ground and pound but Natt has wrist control. Irvin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Natt scores with a nice shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Natt throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Natt clinches up against the cage. The referee calls for Natt to work.
Irvin tries to pull guard but Natt won't allow it.

Natt controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Steve Irvin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Irvin is on top in guard.
Natt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Irvin working some strikes from top position. Natt is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Natt trying to control the position.
Irvin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Natt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Natt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Natt tries for a takedown but Irvin circles away easily and Irvin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Natt's guard. Natt is pulling down on Irvin 's head. It's preventing any offense from Irvin , at least for the moment. Irvin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Natt pulls Irvin in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Irvin is looking to work some ground and pound but Natt has wrist control. Natt looking for a sweep. Not yet Natt, not yet. Irvin working some strikes from top position. Natt pulls Irvin in close to prevent any damage. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Irvin stuffs the takedown. Irvin throws a right and a left that Natt avoids nicely. Natt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Irvin dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Irvin with a lazy takedown attempt and Natt counters with a nice double leg into side control. Irvin won't be happy with that. Natt lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Natt slows the pace down. Irvin is trying to improve his position. Natt tries for a kimura but Irvin is defending well. Irvin is looking for a sweep. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Natt looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Irvin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Natt passes to full mount! Irvin is squirming around, avoiding Natt's attempts to control the action. Irvin can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Natt looking to control and managing it successfully. Natt landing strikes from the mount. Natt trying to control but he's not successful this time. Natt throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Natt lands with some strikes. Natt controlling his opponent. Irvin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Irvin regains half guard. Irvin looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The fighters are battling for position here. Irvin manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Irvin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Irvin has momentary wrist control but Natt slips an elbow through the middle. Irvin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Natt stacks Irvin on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Natt! Irvin is trying to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jordam Natt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Irvin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
