Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Judge Dred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lacey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dred might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to No Easy Way Out. Lacey has chosen Motley Crue - Wild Side as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Judge Dred! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Lacey! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dred chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dred tries to score with a low kick but Lacey moves his leg out of the way. Lacey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dred's waist but Dred gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lacey off to one side. Lacey shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dred sprawls well. Dred wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lacey gets slowly back to his feet. Lacey avoids a kick to the body.
Dred stalks Lacey and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lacey's face. Lacey staggers backwards, shaken. Dred throws an overhand right that lands on Lacey's shoulder, as Lacey tries to avoid the shot. Lacey will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Judge Dred has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Lacey. Lacey closes the distance and clinches up with Dred, looking for a takedown. Lacey pushes Dred against the cage but Dred circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. An inside leg kick from Dred misses. A jab from Dred finds it's way through Lacey's defenses. Dred tries to bum rush Lacey with a series of wild strikes but Lacey uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lacey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dred can pounce on him.
A combination from Dred does no damage. Lacey misses with a takedown attempt - Dred sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lacey is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dred is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lacey. A jab lands there for Dred. Lacey fails with a takedown attempt. Dred looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lacey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lacey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lacey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dred!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dred is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lacey trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lacey has hold of Dred's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dred manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lacey missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lacey is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Dred wants to get back to his feet. Lacey decides to stand up. Dred fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lacey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dred looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Judge Dred is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dred tried to score with a low kick but Lacey checks it. Dred keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lacey shoots in for a double leg but Dred sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lacey shoots in for a takedown but Dred shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dred is looking to chop away at Lacey's legs. Lacey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dred is trying to defend but Lacey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dred is looking for a sweep. Lacey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lacey in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Dred tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lacey!
