The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiminez fails to land with a series of punches.
Dada wants to clinch up but Jiminez keeps it at a distance.

Jiminez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jiminez wants to get back to striking at distance but Dada won't allow it.
Dada is trying to break the clinch but Jiminez is controlling him.

Dada is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jiminez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Dada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jiminez tries to avoid it but Dada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jiminez to the ground. Jiminez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jiminez is pushing Dada's head away, looking to escape. Dada manages to hold on to the position though.

Dada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jiminez walks into a stiff left hand from Dada.
Jiminez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dada sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jiminez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dada swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No joy there for Jiminez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Don Dada will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jiminez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dada circles away quickly and effectively.
Dada misses with a takedown attempt - Jiminez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
