Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Kertorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingston throws a right and a left that both miss. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kingston. Kingston has a takedown stuffed. Kingston drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kertorn is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kingston's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Kertorn is trying to control but can't.
Kingston keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Kingston is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kertorn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kingston is working away from the top position though. Kertorn wants to get back to full guard.

Kertorn misses with a takedown and Kingston counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kingston gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kingston is breathing heavily. Kertorn doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kingston counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kingston working Kertorn over with strikes. Kertorn is looking to improve his position.
Kertorn gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kertorn being controlled here, momentarily. Kertorn is pulling down on Kingston's head to control his posture. Kingston wants to control from the top but Kertorn keeps moving. Kertorn trying to control the position.
Kingston stands up and waves to Kertorn to follow him. Kertorn misses with a takedown attempt so Kingston counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mark Kingston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Kertorn.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kertorn has Kingston pulled in close to control his posture. Kingston pushing down on Kertorn's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Kingston seems to be working for a kimura but Kertorn defends the submission attempt. Kertorn has hold of Kingston's hands but Kingston slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kingston decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Kingston tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kingston scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kingston controlling the action here. Kingston lands with a punch from half guard. Kertorn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kingston passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kertorn! Kingston controlling from mount. Kingston lands with some strikes. Kingston is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kertorn can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kingston looking to control and managing it successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Kingston dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kingston tries to clinch but Kertorn is having none of it. Kertorn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kingston. Kertorn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kingston counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kingston not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kingston is tying to control. Kertorn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kingston content to control rather than advance. Kingston could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingston wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kingston lands strikes from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kingston is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kertorn working to try and regain half guard.
Kertorn is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Kingston controlling from the full mount. Kingston landing punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kingston trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kingston with good strikes from the mount here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kingston has hold of Kertorn's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kertorn manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kingston unloads with some shots from mount but Kertorn bucks and avoids them well.
Kertorn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Kingston fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
It looks like Tyson Kertorn has been cut. Kingston takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kingston pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kingston content just to control the position here. Kingston landing strikes, looking to finish!
The cut above Tyson Kertorn's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Kingston takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kingston scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kingston controlling from mount. Kingston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Mark Kingston just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Kertorn gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kingston stays in close to Kertorn's body and controls the position. Kertorn is looking for a triangle here but Kingston uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Kertorn is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Tyson Kertorn's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tyson Kertorn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
