Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andreas L!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Demoss!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demoss rushes L and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Demoss wants a takedown.
Demoss wants to get back to striking at distance but L won't allow it.
Demoss is trying to drag L to the mat but L just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
L breaks the clinch.
L keeps the fight on the outside.
Demoss blocks a head kick by L.
L scores with a body shot.
L misses with a looping left.
Demoss fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but L avoids it really well and circles away.
Andreas L has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Demoss.
Demoss ducks under a wild hook from L.
L feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Demoss's calf.
Demoss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. L tries to avoid it but Demoss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag L to the ground. L escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
L moves out of range as Demoss throws a body kick.
Demoss is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
L lands a big head kick that sends Demoss tumbling to the mat! L takes a step backwards and waves Demoss back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Demoss is rocked!
It looks like Mike Demoss has been cut.
Demoss looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
L throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Demoss is still on wobbly legs! Can L finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. L engages and cracks Demoss with a massive lead left hook - Demoss tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! L is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andreas L!
