The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giel lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
A punch combination from Giel misses.
Huxtable bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Huxtable misses with a looping right.
Giel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huxtable moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Huxtable throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Paul Giel has been cut.
Huxtable throws a nice outside leg kick.
Giel is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Huxtable throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Giel.

Huxtable feints and then cracks Giel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Giel down.
Giel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Huxtable.

Giel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Huxtable can pounce on him.
Huxtable connects with a high kick.
Jeez, Paul Giel's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
