Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Egon Wildfang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stan Otter! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Otter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wildfang closes the distance and pushes Otter back into the cage. A right handed body shot lands from Otter.
Wildfang is trying to drag Otter to the mat but Otter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Wildfang just leaning against Otter, taking a breather. Wildfang seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Otter goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wildfang prevents it.

Wildfang is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Both fighters working to control the clinch. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Egon Wildfang. Wildfang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stan Otter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wildfang moves into range and clinches up with Otter. Wildfang turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Otter is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Otter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Otter lands a decent little punch to the body.
Wildfang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Otter keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Otter manages to get back to half guard. Wildfang seems to be working for a kimura but Otter defends the submission attempt. Wildfang will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Otter tries to roll over but Wildfang keeps him under control. Wildfang has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Otter is trying to escape the mount.

Wildfang is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Otter is surviving well by controlling Wildfang's body position as best he can. Otter working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wildfang working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Otter looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Wildfang! Submission of the night perhaps?
