Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Smith controlling the pace for now.
Smith avoids the attempt from Kilgore to control.
Kilgore looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Kilgore trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

Smith tries to keep control of the position but Kilgore is staying busy.
Kilgore tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Smith is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kilgore has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kilgore!
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kilgore on the ground.

Kilgore drops back looking for a leg! Smith is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Smith manages to kick Kilgore off! Kilgore jumps back into Smith's guard.
Smith wants to get back to his feet but Kilgore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Kilgore with a flurry of punches that miss.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smith trying to keep a closed guard but Kilgore is proving a slippery customer.

Kilgore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kilgore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Smith looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kilgore drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kilgore seems to have locked his on tight now - Smith screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kilgore, as he picks up the win!
