Kai swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maya displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Kekoa Kai has been cut.
Kai throws a hook but Maya avoids it easily.
Maya misses with a hook. Kai ducked under it nicely.
Kai missing with a left hand there. Maya was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Maya stuffs the takedown attempt from Kai. Kai gets slowly back to his feet.
Kai misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fighters circling - Maya throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Maya gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kai gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kai throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Maya tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kai smiles and moves away.
Kai throws a lazy right hand but Maya sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Maya moves forwards but Kai connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Maya throws out a loose jab but Kai uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kai throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Kai lands a jab to the nose.
Pispis Maya is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kai cracks Maya with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Pispis Maya has been cut.
Kai tries to close the distance and clinch but Maya swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Maya lands with an overhand left.
Kai works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maya avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kai fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maya, pushing him back against the cage.
Maya is trying to break the clinch but Kai is controlling him.
Kai lands a right hand.
Maya jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kai walks away with a smile on his face. Maya gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Maya cracks Kai with an open hand slap.
Kai throws a hook but Maya blocks it.
Maya connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Kai! He's out on his feet! Maya rushes in and drops Kai with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pispis Maya!
