Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuomas Uusierkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Name of The Game. Tuomas Uusierkki acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tuomas Uusierkki! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uusierkki takes a jab right on the kisser.
Uusierkki defending well as Diaz loads up on a big left hand. Diaz misses with a jab, cross combination.
Diaz lands a nice hook to Uusierkki's body. Uusierkki takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Diaz throws a right hand that Uusierkki ducks under and follows up with a left that Uusierkki also avoids with ease. Diaz uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Ricardo Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uusierkki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uusierkki moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Uusierkki backs up against the cage.
Diaz darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The fighters circle momentarily. Diaz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Uusierkki tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz misses with a two punch combination.
Diaz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Uusierkki moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Diaz lunges at Uusierkki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Uusierkki's hand. Diaz stuffs the takedown attempt from Uusierkki. Uusierkki gets slowly back to his feet. Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz throws a series of punches but Uusierkki moves out of range. Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Uusierkki takes one to the chin there. Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Uusierkki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Diaz throws a right hand that Uusierkki ducks under and follows up with a left that Uusierkki also avoids with ease. Uusierkki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Diaz. Diaz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Diaz connects with a looping right hand.
Uusierkki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ricardo Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tuomas Uusierkki. Diaz lands with a nice body punch. Diaz walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Uusierkki drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Diaz swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Uusierkki's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
