The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Bloodshed finds it's way through Makalenko's defenses.
Bloodshed lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bloodshed throws a series of punches but Makalenko moves out of range.
Bloodshed takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bloodshed ducks under a wild hook from Makalenko.
Makalenko tries to clinch up.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bloodshed.

It looks like Ares Bloodshed has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Makalenko tries to close the distance and clinch but Bloodshed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Makalenko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bloodshed sprawls well. Bloodshed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Makalenko gets slowly back to his feet.

Bloodshed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Makalenko is looking to chop away at Bloodshed's legs.

and Makalenko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Bloodshed counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ares Bloodshed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A left and a right from Makalenko both land. Nice combination.

Makalenko connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Bloodshed! He's out on his feet! Makalenko rushes in and drops Bloodshed with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
