The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lisboa lands a left and a right that send Thunstrom crashing to the mat, dazed. Lisboa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Lars Thunstrom has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lisboa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Thunstrom has eaten all the pies!
A combination from Lisboa does no damage.
Lisboa wants to clinch up but Thunstrom keeps it at a distance.
Lisboa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thunstrom dodges the punch combination from Lisboa.
luQ Lisboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thunstrom closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Thunstrom has hold of Lisboa's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lisboa tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thunstrom cranks the arm and Lisboa screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lisboa, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
