Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Rios misses.
Powers darts in and clinches Rios up against the cage.
Powers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rios tries to throw a body punch but Powers avoids it by throwing Rios back against the cage.
Rios misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Powers can't break the clinch.
Rios lands a body punch in the clinch.
Rios can't find room to land a body shot as Powers controls the action.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rios. Powers does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rios closes the distance looking to clinch
and Powers counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Rios tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Powers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Powers throws a combination that misses
and Rios counters with a series of strikes. Powers will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rios throws a series of punches but Powers moves out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by Rios as he connects with a hook.
Rios lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rios tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Powers was well out of range. Poor timing from Rios.
Powers drops Rios with a beautiful combination! Rios stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Powers is looking for the KO!
Rios is rocked!
Rios looks to clinch
and Powers counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Rios has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
