Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between WAH WIE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Mihoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mihoff has chosen Bawitdaba as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Mihoff as WIE shoots in. WIE scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. WIE fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mihoff darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Mihoff perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mihoff works his way into side control. WIE tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mihoff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. WIE is working hard here to advance position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. WIE can't do much from the bottom here. A lull in the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. WIE is trying to control Mihoff's posture but Mihoff avoids it. WIE is looking for a sweep. Mihoff controlling the position from side mount. Mihoff stands up. Mihoff swats away the attempt to clinch by WIE. WIE looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mihoff is fending him off so far but WIE persists. Nope, Mihoff circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for WAH WIE. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mihoff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. WIE misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mihoff wants to free his trapped foot but WIE is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mihoff frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. WIE is breathing heavily. Mihoff prevents WIE from getting the reversal. Mihoff takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. WIE is wriggling around trying to escape.
Mihoff controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mihoff's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. WIE wants to hold on but Mihoff pushes him away. WIE flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mihoff cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mihoff with the ground and pound from mount. Mihoff looking to control and managing it successfully. Mihoff lands with some strikes. Mihoff controlling from mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jackson Mihoff just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. WIE misses with a takedown and Mihoff counters by clinching up. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mihoff. Mihoff tries to score a body lock takedown but WIE shows good agility there to stay on his feet. WIE breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
WIE is looking to clinch but Mihoff is avoiding it.
WIE fails with the takedown and Mihoff counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. WIE drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. WIE throws a big right hand that misses. WIE looking to pass the guard. WIE trying to control the position from guard on top but Mihoff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Mihoff dominated that round. That's time! WIE's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
WIE looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mihoff is staying active underneath WIE, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mihoff makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mihoff. Mihoff keeping moving, preventing WIE from controlling successfully. Mihoff is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Mihoff keeping moving, preventing WIE from controlling successfully. Mihoff is breathing heavily. Mihoff bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in WIE's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. WIE is looking to stand up but Mihoff isn't so interested in that idea. WIE is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mihoff wants to pass the guard but WIE is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. WIE wants to sweep here but Mihoff controlling him for the moment. WIE throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
WIE being controlled here, momentarily. WIE working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mihoff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mihoff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. WIE fails to land the takedown. WIE closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mihoff circles away. WIE closes the distance but Mihoff moves to the side and Mihoff counters into the clinch. Nicely done. WIE has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mihoff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for WAH WIE. That's going to take a lot out of him. WIE on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Mihoff throws an elbow but misses. WIE stalls. WIE wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mihoff has WIE pushed against the cage. WIE has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mihoff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. WIE prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mihoff can't find room to land a body shot as WIE controls the action.

Mihoff keeps control of WIE as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. WIE tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mihoff smiles and moves away.
WIE forces Mihoff back against the cage and clinches. WIE is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mihoff is keeping busy. Mihoff pulls guard successfully.
WIE looking to sit in guard and control but Mihoff gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mihoff controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. WIE wants to stand but Mihoff is controlling the position. Mihoff with a nice head shot there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. WIE throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Mihoff not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. WIE looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mihoff controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Mihoff postures up.
WIE looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Jackson Mihoff showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
WIE shoots in for a takedown but Mihoff shows good takedown defense. WIE throws a push kick but Mihoff slaps the foot to one side. WIE is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. WIE misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mihoff shoots in for a takedown but WIE shows good takedown defense. WIE fails in his attempt to clinch. WIE pulls out of a head kick attempt.
WIE shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for WAH WIE. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mihoff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mihoff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mihoff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. WIE working a defensive guard here.
Mihoff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. WIE swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mihoff not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Mihoff has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Mihoff stands up and waves to WIE to follow him.

WIE manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mihoff's best efforts. WIE pushes Mihoff off looking to stand but Mihoff dives back in and keeps control.

WIE wants to get back to full guard. Mihoff is tying to control. WIE wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. WIE tries to get to full guard but Mihoff has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mihoff looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. WIE is doing well to control the position and prevent Mihoff from advancing to side control. Mihoff seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but WIE does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. WIE ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Nice takedown defense from WIE. No joy for Mihoff on that attempt. WIE shoots in and drives through. Mihoff sprawls well. WIE lands a high kick!

WIE misses with a takedown attempt and Mihoff decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in WIE's guard. Jackson Mihoff has got the better of the ground game so far. WIE wants to sweep but no luck. Mihoff controlling from the top position. WAH WIE has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
