The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kofhal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kofhal misses with the ground and pound.
Nogueira is looking to regain half guard here but Kofhal keeps moving and retains side control.
Kofhal wants to stand but Nogueira is controlling his arm.
Kofhal thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kofhal controlling the position from side mount.
Nogueira manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kofhal content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Nogueira gets full guard.
Kofhal is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nogueira has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kofhal is looking to defend but Nogueira has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kofhal! Nogueira pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kofhal taps out and this one is all over!
