The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Castro paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Castro makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Johansson really felt that one!

That was a close round but I would say that Hugo Johansson will probably get the nod.

Castro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johansson's guard.
Castro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Johansson wants to pass the guard but Castro is keeping the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Castro has his foot on Johansson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johansson works his way back into a safe position though.

Castro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johansson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Castro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johansson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Johansson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Johansson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castro tries to avoid it but Johansson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castro to the ground. Castro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Castro shoots in for a double leg but Johansson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Castro lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johansson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
