Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and emmet smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Anthony Ellison has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anthony Ellison seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, emmet smith!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
smith fails to land with a series of punches.
smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Ellison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Some wild striking there from Ellison.
smith throws a nice looking combination but Ellison bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ellison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ellison has smith pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ellison pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending smith tumbling to the mat - Ellison dives into smith's guard.

smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ellison swivels though and keeps the full guard.

smith gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

smith moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ellison closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming smith to the mat! smith manages to get full guard.
