Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grozny Misiek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Cunha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grozny Misiek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Cunha! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Misiek throws a head kick that misses. No luck for Cunha with that takedown attempt. Cunha clinches up against the cage. Misiek can't break the clinch.
Cunha has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Misiek clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Cunha has the hooks in. Misiek is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Cunha misses with punches from the back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Misiek trying to control the action but Cunha just sinks the hooks in. Cunha controls the position. Even with his hooks in, Cunha manages to miss with strikes from the back. Misiek is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cunha working for the choke. Cunha has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Misiek is trying to stand back up. Misiek covering up well under a series of strikes from Cunha. Misiek is in bad spot here.

Cunha darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Misiek punching from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cunha passes into side control, despite Misiek's attempt to control the position.

Cunha throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Misiek. Grozny Misiek is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cunha misses with a double jab.
Cunha clinches up against the cage. Misiek tries to pull guard but Cunha won't allow it.
Misiek jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cunha walks away with a smile on his face. Misiek gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Cunha misses with a takedown attempt - Misiek sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Misiek clinches but Cunha breaks the clinch and Cunha counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Misiek tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Misiek tries to break the clinch but Cunha is controlling the position. Cunha pulls guard effortlessly. Misiek gets to his feet. Cunha looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Misiek throws a head kick that misses and Cunha counters with a nice double leg into side control. Misiek won't be happy with that. Misiek trying his best to control but Cunha has mounted him. Misiek is trying to escape the mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Cunha there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cunha goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Misiek is on top in guard.
Cunha is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cunha keeping full guard, as Misiek tries to pass. Cunha bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Misiek's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cunha showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Misiek trying to keep a closed guard but Cunha is proving a slippery customer.

William Cunha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Cunha scores with a jab. Misiek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Misiek misses with a takedown and Cunha counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Cunha slows the pace down in half guard. Cunha escapes and gets back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cunha clinches up with Misiek and pushes him back against the cage. Misiek on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cunha drags the fight down to the ground.
Cunha pulls Misiek in to control the position. Misiek trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cunha is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Cunha throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Misiek wants to stand and escape but instead Cunha has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Cunha passes easily into side control. Nice work. Cunha has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Cunha throws a sloppy head kick and Misiek moves out of range easily. Cunha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Misiek paws at him with a jab and circles away. Misiek throws a head kick but Cunha moves out of range.
Cunha looks to land a combination. Misiek sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Cunha moves out of range of the body kick from Misiek.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cunha instigates a clinch. Misiek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Cunha pulls guard. Cunha is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Misiek tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Cunha blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Cunha can't break the clinch.
Cunha lands a body shot in the clinch.
Cunha jumps guard and drags Misiek to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cunha is on top in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cunha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cunha wants to control from the top but Misiek keeps moving.

And that's the end of the fight! William Cunha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cunha has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
