Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cove throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oliveira's waist but Oliveira gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cove off to one side.
Oliveira looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nice takedown defense from Oliveira. No joy for Cove on that attempt.
A head kick misses from Cove.
Cove misses with a takedown attempt - Oliveira sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nugent Cove. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Oliveira lands a slapping body shot.
Oliveira wants to clinch up but Cove keeps it at a distance.
Cove tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oliveira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cove somewhat.
Oliveira slaps away a takedown attempt from Cove, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cove fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Oliveira avoids it really well and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cove.
Oliveira gets the takedown into side control.

Cove manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cove gets back to full guard.
Cove wants to sweep but no luck.
Cove is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cove is on top in guard.
Cove stands up and waves to Oliveira to follow him.
Cove misses with the combination.

Cove gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Oliveira decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cove's guard.
Cove controlling the position.
Oliveira working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Cove uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Cove shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Oliveira counters with a three punch combo that has Cove backing up. Cove nods at Oliveira to acknowledge the strikes.
Cove shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Oliveira napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cove tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Oliveira takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oliveira can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cove scores a takedown into full mount!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cove lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cove controlling the pace for now.

Oliveira is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Cove locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Oliveira is forced to tap!
