And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Sims swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sims lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sims throws a right hand that Norris ducks under and follows up with a left that Norris also avoids with ease.
Sims fails to land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Norris.
Norris wants to clinch.
Sims blocks a head kick by Norris.
Norris bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sims avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sims throws a solid leg kick but Norris takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sims.
Sims tries for a takedown but Norris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Norris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Norris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sims paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Norris cracks Sims with an open hand slap.
Sims is rocked!
BOOM! Norris lands a beautiful left hook that drops Sims. Sims tries to recover but Norris is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Sims lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Norris!
David Norris is the new lightweight champion!
