Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Sober (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sober has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. Dylan Sober struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sober fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sober moves out of range as Manuel throws a body kick.
Sober blocks a head kick by Manuel.
Manuel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Manuel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sober misses with the combination.
Manuel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Manuel scores with a spinning back kick!
A slapping body kick lands there for Manuel.
Sober takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sober looks gassed!
Sober chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Manuel can pounce on him.

Manuel moves into range and clinches up with Sober.
Sober has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Manuel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sober really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manuel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sober blocks a head kick by Manuel.

Manuel works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Sober goes for a takedown attempt but Manuel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Matt Manuel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Sober.
Sober changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Manuel tries to avoid it but Sober manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Manuel to the ground. Manuel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sober cracks a nice hook into Manuel's ribs.

and Sober counters with a nice double leg into side control. Manuel won't be happy with that.
Sober tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Sober wants to lay and pray for a moment but Manuel keeps working.
Manuel gets back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Manuel gets back to full guard.
Manuel punching from the bottom - just letting Sober know he's still in a fight.
Manuel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sober wants to stand but Manuel is controlling his posture from full guard.

and Sober counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

It looks like Matt Manuel has been cut.
Sober moves in looking to clinch but Manuel pushes him off.
