The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Machida connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Lyoto Machida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Machida moves in looking to clinch but Vaughn pushes him off.
Vaughn fails with a takedown attempt.
Machida displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Ricky Vaughn has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vaughn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Machida misses with the combination.
Vaughn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Machida throws a right and a left that Vaughn avoids nicely.
Machida scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vaughn doesn't seem bothered though.

Machida jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Machida misses with a two punch combination.
Machida dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Machida scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Machida lands a hook that stumbles Vaughn back into the cage. Machida follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Vaughn to the canvas! Machida pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Vaughn has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
