Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Zimmerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zimmerman comes to the cage accompanied by That Smell. Simmons has chosen Undisputed - Ludacris as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Levi Zimmerman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Levi Zimmerman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Simmons! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zimmerman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zimmerman showed some decent athleticism there. Simmons wants to control but Zimmerman is keeping busy.
Zimmerman wants to pass to mount but Simmons is defending the position. Zimmerman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Zimmerman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Simmons actively working from the bottom here. Simmons wants to get back to full guard. Zimmerman is controlling the pace.
Zimmerman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zimmerman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Simmons for as long as he can get away with. Simmons is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Simmons won't allow Zimmerman to pass to mount. Simmons looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Zimmerman wants to pass the guard but Simmons is defending well. Simmons gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Simmons is looking for a triangle but Zimmerman pushes his legs off easily.
Zimmerman throws a big right hand that misses. Simmons has his foot on Zimmerman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zimmerman works his way back into a safe position though. Simmons should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Zimmerman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Simmons swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zimmerman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Simmons on the ground. Zimmerman with a nice head shot there. Zimmerman throws a big right hand that misses. Zimmerman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Zimmerman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Simmons has his foot on Zimmerman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zimmerman works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zimmerman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Zimmerman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zimmerman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Zimmerman trying to control the position from guard on top but Simmons is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zimmerman is looking to work some ground and pound but Simmons has wrist control. Zimmerman looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Simmons pushes a forearm under Zimmerman's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Zimmerman is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
