The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keyes throws a hook but White blocks it. Keyes tries to keep at a distance but White has taken the fight into the clinch. White tries to score a body lock takedown but Keyes shows good agility there to stay on his feet. White is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A nice left hand lands by White.
Keyes tries to break the clinch but White is controlling the position. White looking for a takedown. London Keyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred White. Keyes tries to break the clinch but White is controlling the position. Keyes drops down looking for an ankle pick but White pulls his leg out and moves away.
White takes a body punch but keeps moving. A jab lands there for Keyes.
It looks like Fred White has been cut. Keyes takes one on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Keyes darts in trying to clinch and White counters with a takedown into side control. White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Keyes is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. White working away. Keyes avoids any damage from the ground and pound of White. White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Keyes regains half guard. Keyes is trying to stand up here but White is controlling him well. Keyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground. Keyes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Keyes dips to his left and cracks White with an uppercut! Keyes slips a jab and a cross from White.
White gets in close and instigates a clinch. Keyes is trying to force a seperation but White has the dominant position. A shot in the inside from Keyes. Keyes has had enough of the clinch but White keeps him there for the moment. Keyes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keyes manages to break the clinch.
Keyes has taken the fight to the clinch.
White wants a takedown.
Keyes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but White has him pressed against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Keyes is trying to force a seperation but White has the dominant position. White breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Keyes closes the distance looking to clinch and White counters by clinching up. Keyes pushes White back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. White looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Keyes throws a punch but it's blocked by White. Keyes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of White backwards. A short uppercut from Keyes. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Keyes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A frustrated look appears on Keyes's face as he tries to break the clinch. Keyes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Keyes has had enough of the clinch but White keeps him there for the moment. Keyes tries to break free but White pushes him back against the cage. Keyes tries to circle away but White has him pinned against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Keyes pulls him back up using the underhooks. White is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Keyes tries to break the clinch but White is controlling the position. Keyes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Keyes moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Keyes uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.

Keyes fails with an attempt to clinch.
White swats away the attempt to clinch by Keyes. Keyes scores with a one two! White had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nice uppercut lands for Keyes. That snapped White's head back.
White is rocked! Keyes steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! White is out on his feet! Keyes sets himself and nearly takes White's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
