Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sal Zork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Hommis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zork comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Against - Behind Closed Doors. Dick Hommis acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sal Zork! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Hommis! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hommis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zork looks to land a combination. Hommis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Zork keeps the fight on the outside. Zork looks to clinch and Hommis moves into the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Hommis stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Hommis blocks a body shot from Zork. Hommis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zork's efforts to push away. Zork is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Zork gets a trip takedown into half guard. Zork moves into full mount! Hommis won't be happy about that! Hommis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zork. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zork wants to control the pace but Hommis is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zork controlling the position easily from mount. Hommis tries to lock up and control but Zork gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Zork trying to control but Hommis is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hommis tries to hold on but Zork postures up. Zork sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Zork can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hommis is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hommis wants to hold on but Zork pushes him away. Zork controlling from the full mount. Zork is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Zork tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hommis swivels and escapes. Zork fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hommis manages to avoid it. Zork tries to clinch up and Hommis counters by clinching up. Zork tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hommis jumps guard but Zork stands there with Hommis around his waist. Hommis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zork is working for takedown but Hommis is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sal Zork. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zork manages to pull guard.
Zork not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sal Zork dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Zork tries for a takedown but Hommis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Zork drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zork pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hommis is keeping the position for now. Hommis being controlled here, momentarily. Zork wants to stand and escape but instead Hommis has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zork is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hommis dives into side control.
Hommis working away. Zork wants to get back to his feet but Hommis drags him back down. Hommis trying to control the position but Zork is working away. Zork tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. You can see the frustration on Zork's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Zork tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Zork clinches but Hommis breaks the clinch and Hommis moves into the clinch. Hommis fails to pull guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good body shot from Zork.
Hommis is fighting off a takedown attempt but Zork is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hommis to the mat. Hommis regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hommis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Zork wants to stand but Hommis has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Zork sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hommis's guard. Zork is taking a breather. Hommis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Zork wants to stand up but Hommis is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Zork seems content to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zork working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Hommis's thigh. Hommis counters though and makes it back to full guard. Zork gets to his feet. Hommis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sal Zork dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Zork tries to clinch and Hommis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Zork digs a right hand underneath Hommis's ribcage. Hommis let out a lung full of air as it connected. Hommis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zork.
Zork wants to break the clinch but can't.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Zork as Hommis tries to tie him up. Hommis fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zork misses with some punches.

Zork looks to land a combination but Hommis avoids it well. Zork tries to clinch but Hommis moves away and Hommis counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zork tries to circle away but Hommis has him pinned against the cage. Hommis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Zork's elbow. Zork lands a hook to the side of the head. Hommis pulls guard successfully.
Hommis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zork. Zork looking to pass the guard. Zork wants to control from the top but Hommis keeps moving. Zork has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hommis is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hommis trying to keep a closed guard but Zork is proving a slippery customer.
Zork is looking to stand up but Hommis won't let him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Zork tries to clinch but Hommis moves away and Hommis counters by clinching up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zork jumps guard but Hommis stands there with Zork around his waist. Zork gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Zork stands up and waves to Hommis to follow him. Hommis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zork closes the distance looking to clinch and Hommis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Zork wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hommis tries to pull guard but Zork won't allow it.
Hommis stops a takedown attempt from Zork.
Hommis tries to land a knee to the head but Zork blocks with his arms.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hommis is pressed up against the cage. Zork has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hommis down to the mat. Hommis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Zork wants to clinch and Hommis counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
And that's the end of the fight! Dick Hommis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zork has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
