Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Alvez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Jasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvez comes to the cage accompanied by Mama said knock you out. Sean Alvez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Jasper! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jasper defends it nicely. Jasper moves into the clinch. Alvez lands an uppercut. Alvez lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jasper. Jasper misses with an elbow over the top. Jasper lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Alvez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jasper has him pressed against the cage. Jasper changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Alvez fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Alvez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jasper wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alvez, who protects the arm well. Jasper decides to stand up, so the ref orders Alvez to his feet. Jasper tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jasper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alvez, pushing him back against the cage. Alvez shoots in for a double leg but Jasper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Alvez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Alvez. No joy for Jasper on that attempt. Alvez has closed the distance and engaged Jasper in a clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jasper misses with a takedown attempt - Alvez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Alvez works over Jasper's head and body with a nice combination. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alvez has one foot on Jasper's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Jasper forces Alvez back against the cage and clinches. Alvez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Alvez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jasper is staying active underneath Alvez, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jasper looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jasper lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Alvez! Jasper stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Jasper shoots in and bounces Alvez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Jasper gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jasper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Alvez darts in and clinches Jasper up against the cage.
