Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joon Joones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb SmithII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). SmithII has chosen Im No superman as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SmithII misses with a takedown attempt - Joones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Joones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming SmithII to the mat! SmithII manages to get full guard.
Joones landing some decent shots from guard.
Joones in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
SmithII is trying to keep Joones in close.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

SmithII is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Joones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Joones got a little sloppy there for a moment and SmithII has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Joones has managed to get both his arms back between SmithII's legs - danger averted.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Joones drops back looking for a leg! SmithII is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and SmithII manages to kick Joones off! Joones jumps back into SmithII's guard.
SmithII controls Joones momentarily but Joones frees himself.

Joones has an Americana. SmithII didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Joones is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Joones hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
