Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franco Baptista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clayton Haller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haller comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Race Is On - Sawyer Brown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baptista closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Baptista lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Baptista tries to land a front kick but Haller steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Baptista takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Baptista moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Haller rushes Baptista and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Haller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Haller sizes up Baptista with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Haller lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Haller.
Nice uppercut lands for Haller. That snapped Baptista's head back.

Baptista throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Clayton Haller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Haller fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baptista looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Baptista thows a body shot but no joy.
Haller throws a combination. Baptista tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oh Baptista is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Haller throws a right and a left that both miss.
Haller drops Baptista with a huge uppercut! Baptista drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Haller is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
