Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Snake Bite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike White has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Snake Bite's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Snake Bite!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike White!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bite closes the distance and pushes White back into the cage.
Bite tries a body shot but White blocks it.
A short body shot lands from Bite as the two fighters clinch.
A right hand to the body from Bite.
Bite misses with a punch to the body.
Bite content to slow the pace in the clinch.
White changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bite fights it off and pushes away nicely.
White decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bite pushes White off looking to stand but White dives back in and keeps control.
Bite is trying to control but can't.
White is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

White trying to work for an americana but Bite has managed to regain full guard.
Bite has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes White off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bite pushes White up against the cage in a clinch.

Bite stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A short body shot lands from Bite as the two fighters clinch.
White prevents a body shot from Bite.
Bite goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bite decides to pull guard.
White postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bite is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of White, into his guard.
Bite seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bite seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down White for as long as he can get away with.
White is looking for a triangle but Bite pushes his legs off easily.
Bite slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bite decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bite scores with a shot to the body.
Bite swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bite rushes White and presses him up against the cage.
Bite throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Bite is pressing down on White's thigh, looking to free his foot. White is holding on for now.
White is refusing to be controlled, as Bite sits in half guard.
Bite trying to mount his opponent but White defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bite misses with a body shot.
Bite moves into the clinch successfully.
Bite lands a takedown into guard.
White keeping moving, preventing Bite from controlling successfully.
White keeping full guard, as Bite tries to pass.
Bite sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Bite stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bite has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of White is proving hard to escape from.
White is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bite is aware though and is defending well.
Bite advances to half guard.
Bite is taking a breather. White says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
White actively working from the bottom here.
White is breathing heavily.
White is looking to improve his position.
Bite looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
White is refusing to be controlled, as Bite sits in half guard.

Bite is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because White is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bite looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
White looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bite closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bite blocking some punches.
A right handed body shot lands from Bite.
Bite lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bite works his way into full mount!
Bite wants to take White's back but he can't do it this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bite tries to control but White wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snake Bite dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
White darts in trying to clinch
and Bite counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bite has closed the distance and engaged White in a clinch.
Bite's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

White blocks a body shot from Bite.
Bite misses with a hook to the ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Bite - that landed with a thud.
Bite is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Bite jumps guard.
White has gone for a leg lock! Bite slips out almost immediately though and dives into White's guard.
White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Bite advances position into side control!
White is looking for a sweep.
Bite is looking to take a break and control but White is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
White manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Bite is holding on to half guard well.
Snake Bite is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bite pushes White off and gets back to his feet.

White has his takedown stuffed
and Bite counters by clinching up.
White wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bite stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
White is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bite pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Bite has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
