PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Boblay Lachlay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Cornish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lachlay kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is flyest. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Cornish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cornish shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lachlay's guard.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cornish connects with a nice short shot to Lachlay's temple.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
