Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Wrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Farinelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wrath's entrance music is RUFF RIDERS ANTHEM. A fine choice. Paulo Farinelli has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bubba Wrath! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulo Farinelli! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farinelli gets in close and instigates a clinch. Farinelli tries to score a body lock takedown but Wrath shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Wrath is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Farinelli gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Wrath tries to break the clinch but Farinelli is controlling the position. Farinelli goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wrath prevents it.
Wrath is pressed up against the cage. Farinelli has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wrath down to the mat. Wrath avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bubba Wrath has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Farinelli. Wrath is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Farinelli's half guard. Wrath performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Farinelli looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Farinelli is looking to control Wrath's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Farinelli avoid being mounted? Wrath is nestled in close to Farinelli, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Farinelli actively working from the bottom here. Farinelli is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wrath pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farinelli is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Farinelli looking for submissions off his back. Farinelli looks gassed! Farinelli trying to control here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Farinelli doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wrath counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Farinelli! Wrath with shots to the head and body - Farinelli looks very uncomfortable down there. Farinelli is looking to improve his position but Wrath isn't that keen on the idea. Farinelli takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Farinelli is desperately trying to improve his position but Wrath has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrath lands a heavy elbow. Wrath putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Farinelli is bucking up trying to escape but Wrath cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Wrath landing punches. Farinelli tries to lock up and control but Wrath gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Wrath looking to finish Farinelli with some ground and pound. This is bad for Farinelli! Wrath looking to control but Farinelli is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wrath landing punches. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wrath working Farinelli over with strikes here. Wrath is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Farinelli can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Wrath trying to control but he's not successful this time. Wrath working away from the top, dropping strikes. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Farinelli wants to hold on but Wrath pushes him away. Farinelli tries to get back to half guard but can't. Farinelli is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Farinelli is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Wrath. Farinelli in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Farinelli is working to get back to half guard.
Wrath wants to finish this one by submission but Farinelli is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wrath. Farinelli really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wrath cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Farinelli tries to hold on but Wrath postures up. Wrath prevents Farinelli from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wrath is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Farinelli has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Farinelli! Wrath trying to keep a closed guard but Farinelli is proving a slippery customer.
Wrath wants to control but Farinelli passes easily into half guard.
Farinelli working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bubba Wrath dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Farinelli has his takedown stuffed so Wrath counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Farinelli bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wrath's guard. Farinelli postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wrath is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Farinelli, into his guard. Farinelli looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wrath makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wrath working some strikes from top position. Farinelli is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wrath postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrath wants to control from the top but Farinelli keeps moving. Wrath throws and elbow that misses. Farinelli uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wrath's guard. Nice move by Farinelli! Wrath throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Wrath has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Farinelli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Farinelli trying to control the position from guard on top but Wrath is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Farinelli with a nice head shot there. Farinelli controls from within his opponent's guard. Farinelli drops back looking for a leg! Wrath is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wrath manages to kick Farinelli off! Farinelli jumps back into Wrath's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wrath looking for a sweep. Not yet Wrath, not yet. Farinelli is in close to Wrath's body, working some short punches and elbows. Farinelli with a flurry of punches that miss. Farinelli loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Farinelli trying to control but Wrath is working from the bottom. Farinelli drops back looking for a leg! Wrath is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wrath manages to kick Farinelli off! Farinelli jumps back into Wrath's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wrath doesn't succeed with the takedown and Farinelli decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wrath's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Farinelli drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Farinelli jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Farinelli looking to pass the guard. Wrath kicks Farinelli off and gets to his feet. Farinelli closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Farinelli lands in his opponent's guard. Farinelli stands up out of Wrath's guard for a moment - Wrath manages to land a nice upkick. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Farinelli's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Farinelli working some strikes from top position. Farinelli thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Farinelli postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Farinelli wants to control from the top but Wrath keeps moving. Wrath manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Farinelli manages to get himself to full guard.
Farinelli looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Farinelli escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wrath gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wrath is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paulo Farinelli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Farinelli is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Wrath has his hands clasped together but Farinelli extends an breaks Wrath's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Farinelli.
