The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aktersnurra looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Rogers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aktersnurra is controlling him.
Aktersnurra is pushing down on Rogers's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rogers is fighting to maintain full guard but Aktersnurra has managed to sneak the leg through.
Aktersnurra is keen to just control but Rogers is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aktersnurra seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rogers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Rogers throws a right hand that Aktersnurra ducks under and follows up with a left that Aktersnurra also avoids with ease.
Aktersnurra throws a leg kick but Rogers sees it coming and moves out of range.

Aktersnurra shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rogers napping and manages to drive through into side control!
