Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Luimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Tatum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tatum comes into a darkened arena with his song building. my own summer - deftones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luimes shoots in for a double leg but Tatum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tatum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tatum is pushing down on Luimes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Luimes is fighting to maintain full guard but Tatum has managed to sneak the leg through. Luimes tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tatum has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Tatum content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luimes is working to get back to half guard.
Tatum controlling the position easily from mount. Luimes tries to hold on but Tatum postures up. Tatum tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Luimes regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luimes is staying active underneath Tatum, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Luimes actively working from the bottom here. Tatum is working for a kimura but Luimes is defending it quite comfortably.
Luimes regains full guard. Nicely done. Luimes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tatum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tatum manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Luimes looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Luimes seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Luimes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Tatum must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tatum sitting in guard, not really doing much. Luimes throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Tatum wants to control from the top but Luimes keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Luimes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Luimes is breathing heavily. Tatum thows a big elbow that misses. Luimes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Luimes is working an open guard so Tatum takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Luimes was covering up waiting for the punch and Tatum finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tatum not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Luimes looking for a guillotine here but Tatum defends easily.
Tatum wants to control from the top but Luimes keeps moving. Luimes is trying to control the position but Tatum postures up. Tatum advances position into side control! Luimes can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luimes is looking for a sweep. Tatum tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Luimes tries to get back to half guard but can't. Luimes gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Luimes is working to get back to half guard.
Tatum wants to finish this one by submission but Luimes is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tatum. Luimes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Tatum dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tatum looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Excellent takedown into side control there by Tatum. Tatum content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Luimes is looking for a sweep. Tatum thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Luimes's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luimes is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Luimes is working hard here to advance position. Tatum tries to move into full mount but can't pass Luimes's legs.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Tatum shoots and misses and Luimes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Luimes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tatum gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Luimes jumps guard and drags Tatum to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Luimes controls Tatum momentarily but Tatum frees himself. Tatum is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tatum won't allow Luimes to sweep him here. Luimes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tatum defends it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tatum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luimes swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tatum passes into half guard. Luimes tries to roll over but Tatum keeps him under control. Tatum wants to pass the guard but Luimes is defending well. Tatum trying to control from half guard but Luimes is working away. Luimes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tatum is keen to just control but Luimes is a slippery customer. Luimes trying to control but Tatum postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tatum closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Luimes is trying to control but can't.
Luimes is looking for a sweep. Tatum is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tatum wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luimes keeps working. Luimes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Luimes actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Tatum content to control rather than advance. Tatum works his way into side control. Luimes is not content to let Tatum control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Luimes is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tatum's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Tatum is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chance Tatum showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Luimes blocks a head kick by Tatum.

The referee asks Tatum politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tatum prefers to stall for the moment though. Luimes tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Luimes is trying to maintain the position but Tatum is very close to passing his half guard. Richard Luimes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tatum uses his free foot to push down on Luimes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Luimes. Chance Tatum has got the better of the ground game so far. Tatum looking to control but Luimes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tatum is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Despite being in the dominant position, Chance Tatum just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tatum tries to close the distance and clinch but Luimes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Luimes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tatum counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tatum.
And that's the end of the fight! Chance Tatum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tatum winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
