Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bizarr looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
da Guia takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bizarr scores with a takedown into da Guia's guard.
Bizarr has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of da Guia is proving hard to escape from.
da Guia is trying to control the position but Bizarr postures up.
Bizarr wants to stand but da Guia has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
da Guia can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bizarr controls the pace.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bizarr throws a head kick but da Guia moves out of range.
da Guia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bizarr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Horrible takedown by Bizarr or perhaps it was just good defense by da Guia which made him look bad.
Bizarr looks gassed!
da Guia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bizarr has a hand on da Guia's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. da Guia takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

da Guia has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Carlos da Guia will probably get the nod.
That's time! da Guia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bizarr wants to clinch but da Guia slips to the side
and da Guia counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bizarr is stalling here.
Bizarr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
da Guia breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
da Guia showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bizarr.
da Guia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
da Guia gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bizarr gets to his feet. da Guia looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
da Guia tries to clinch but Bizarr is having none of it.
Bizarr is breathing heavily.
Bizarr clinches but da Guia breaks the clinch
and da Guia decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bizarr's guard.

Bizarr looking to hit a scissor sweep but da Guia is one step ahead there.
da Guia is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
da Guia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bizarr manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bizarr unloads with some shots from mount but da Guia bucks and avoids them well.
Bizarr can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as da Guia is looking to escape.
da Guia is in all sorts of trouble here.

da Guia manages to control the position for a moment.
da Guia wants to hold on but Bizarr pushes him away.
Bizarr wants to control the pace but da Guia is squirming around nicely.
da Guia gets back to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bizarr with the ground and pound but da Guia uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Bizarr pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. da Guia is keeping the position for now.
Bizarr gets to his feet - da Guia follows without any prompting.
da Guia throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
da Guia moves in looking to clinch but Bizarr pushes him off.
da Guia doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bizarr counters with a thumping low kick.
Howie Bizarr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
da Guia tries to clinch there but Bizarr circles away.
da Guia throws a sloppy head kick and Bizarr moves out of range easily.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Carlos da Guia will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
da Guia gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bizarr managing to block the knees to the body from da Guia.
da Guia manages to pull guard.
Bizarr decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on da Guia, up you get!
Bizarr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in da Guia's guard.
Bizarr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as da Guia holds on and takes a little breather.
da Guia manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Carlos da Guia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bizarr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Carlos da Guia just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
da Guia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Carlos da Guia is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Bizarr has a takedown stuffed.
da Guia throws a front kick that sends Bizarr stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
da Guia shoots in and drives through. Bizarr sprawls well.
da Guia scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
