Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Concepcion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trever Jobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rocky Theme Song. Trever Jobe will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zachary Concepcion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concepcion avoids the head kick by Jobe.
Concepcion circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jobe swings for the body but Concepcion moves out of range.
Jobe wants to slow Concepcion down by chopping away at his legs.
Concepcion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jobe's guard.
Jobe is wriggling around but Concepcion manages to pass to half guard.
Concepcion is looking to take a break and control but Jobe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jobe tries to get to full guard but Concepcion has control of the leg.
Well, if Concepcion is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Concepcion is looking to pass Jobe's guard but actually Jobe recovers to full guard.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Concepcion breaks from the clinch.
Concepcion feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Concepcion looking to sit in guard and control but Jobe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Concepcion pushes Jobe off and gets back to his feet.
Concepcion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jobe avoids it really well and circles away.
Concepcion closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jobe jumps guard but Concepcion stands there with Jobe around his waist. Jobe gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Concepcion tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jobe smiles and moves away.

Concepcion pulls Jobe into guard.
Concepcion is pulling down on Jobe's head. It's preventing any offense from Jobe, at least for the moment.
Jobe drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Concepcion manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jobe has Concepcion in his guard.
Jobe wants to control the position but Concepcion says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Concepcion wants to take a breather but Jobe is having none of it.

Jobe is trying to get back to full guard.
Jobe is looking to get back to is feet but Concepcion passes into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Jobe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Concepcion is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jobe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Concepcion seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jobe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Concepcion goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jobe turns into him and now he's in Concepcion's guard.

Concepcion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jobe's guard.
Jobe wants to stand up but Concepcion is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jobe has his foot on Concepcion's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Concepcion works his way back into a safe position though.
Zachary Concepcion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Concepcion is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jobe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jobe has escaped and now he's on top!

Concepcion wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jobe keeps working.

Jobe is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Concepcion is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Concepcion sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Jobe wants to control but Concepcion is having none of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Concepcion wants to control the pace but Jobe is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jobe is looking to improve his position but Concepcion isn't that keen on the idea.

Concepcion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Jobe is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Concepcion has taken his back.

Concepcion is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jobe knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jobe for a finish.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Concepcion keeps control of the position as Jobe tries to break free.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Concepcion, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
