PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Mountbatten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mountbatten is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Last Resort. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner slips under a jab from Mountbatten.
Turner wants to clinch.
Turner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mountbatten sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turner somewhat.
Mountbatten throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease.
Turner on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Mountbatten connects with a right hand. Turner shakes it off.
Turner wants to clinch.
Mountbatten avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mountbatten swats away the attempt to clinch by Turner.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mountbatten, as that shot connected.

It looks like Mike Turner has been cut.
Mountbatten ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mountbatten scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Turner doesn't manage to clinch there - Mountbatten circles away.
Turner tries to close the distance and clinch but Mountbatten swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mountbatten moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turner wants to clinch up but Mountbatten keeps it at a distance.

Turner slips a jab and a cross from Mountbatten.
Mountbatten keeps the fight on the outside.
Turner moves forwards but Mountbatten connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Turner tries to clinch up.
William Mountbatten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Turner gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A jab lands there for Mountbatten.
Mountbatten lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Turner at a distance.
Turner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Turner is breathing heavily.
Mountbatten bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Turner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mountbatten swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mountbatten lands with a nice body punch.
Mountbatten swats away the attempt to clinch by Turner.
Mountbatten scores with a hook to the body. Turner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turner seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Mountbatten shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Turner is backing up but Mountbatten catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Turner covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Mountbatten Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
