Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takonomi Kishimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tusse Batman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Battery - Metallica. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takonomi Kishimoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tusse Batman! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batman fails with a takedown attempt. Batman drives through and clinches with Kishimoto against the cage.
Kishimoto tries to work over Batman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kishimoto tries to break the clinch but Batman is controlling the position. Kishimoto is looking to control Batman's arms but Batman gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kishimoto has his back to the cage. Kishimoto tries for a takedown. No joy.
Batman prevents a body shot from Kishimoto. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batman has Kishimoto pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kishimoto manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Batman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kishimoto gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Takonomi Kishimoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tusse Batman. Kishimoto has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kishimoto is looking to break free of the clinch but Batman has double underhooks.

Kishimoto wants to control from the top but Batman keeps moving. Batman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Batman controls Kishimoto momentarily but Kishimoto frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kishimoto is looking to advance position but Batman has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Batman won't let Kishimoto get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Batman has eaten all the pies! Batman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kishimoto is surviving well by controlling Batman's body position as best he can. Batman trying to control but Kishimoto is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Batman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kishimoto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kishimoto wants to try and get back to his feet. Batman working for a guillotine from mount but Kishimoto is in no mood to give up. Batman is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kishimoto wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kishimoto fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Batman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kishimoto's waist but Kishimoto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Batman off to one side. Batman stuffs the takedown. Kishimoto throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kishimoto is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kishimoto closes the distance but Batman moves to the side and Batman counters with a single leg into guard. Kishimoto didn't expect that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tusse Batman dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kishimoto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kishimoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Batman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Batman. Batman trying to control the position from guard on top but Kishimoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Batman might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kishimoto kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Batman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kishimoto swivels though and keeps the full guard. Batman won't allow Kishimoto to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kishimoto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Batman counters with a single leg into guard. Kishimoto didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Batman stops Kishimoto from standing up. Batman drops back looking for a leg! Kishimoto is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kishimoto manages to kick Batman off! Batman jumps back into Kishimoto's guard. Batman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Batman is breathing heavily. Batman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batman lands a couple of elbows. Batman passes easily into side control. Nice work. Batman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Batman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kishimoto tries to escape but Batman is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Batman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Tusse Batman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Kishimoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takonomi Kishimoto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kishimoto moves in looking to clinch but Batman pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Batman swats away the attempt to clinch by Kishimoto. Batman tries for a takedown but Kishimoto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Batman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Batman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Batman wants it to stay on the feet. Batman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Batman is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kishimoto avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Batman. Kishimoto wants to get back to his feet. Tusse Batman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Batman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kishimoto pushes Batman off looking to stand but Batman dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Batman is working for a kimura but Kishimoto is defending it quite comfortably.
Kishimoto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Batman on the ground. Batman wants to take a breather but Kishimoto is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kishimoto is trying to stand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kishimoto misses with a series of wild punches.
Kishimoto throws a one two combo.
Kishimoto's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Kishimoto duly obliges. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kishimoto shoots in for a takedown but Batman shows good takedown defense. Takonomi Kishimoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Batman stuffs the takedown attempt from Kishimoto. Kishimoto gets slowly back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Takonomi Kishimoto. I think Batman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
