Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ravi Pillay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Jodoin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pillay might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nickelback - Woke Up This Morning. Ramon Jodoin has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jodoin looks to land a combination but Pillay avoids it well.
Jodoin shoots for a double leg takedown but Pillay sprawls well. He's pushed Jodoin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pillay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jodoin rushes Pillay and presses him up against the cage.
Jodoin tries to break the clinch but Pillay is controlling the position.

Jodoin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jodoin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Poor strikes thrown by Jodoin there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Pillay tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jodoin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jodoin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jodoin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pillay uses from the top position.

Jodoin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pillay is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jodoin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pillay's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ravi Pillay.
I think Jodoin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
