The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sidhu wants to clinch up but The Kid keeps it at a distance.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if The Kid can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sidhu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear The Kid down.
Sidhu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The Kid is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sidhu asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
